Before I was introduced to street dance, my absolute favorite choreographer was Bob Fosse, and his muse , the incomparable, Gwen Verdon, boy what a pair.  Fosse’s vision and ability to make the most of his flaws this unique ability  to tell a story,  bring it to life on the stage, and screen and  of course, he is from Chicago, just  like me , and his birthday is one day after mine, (i’m june 22, he was June 23) made him a winner in my book. And then the lovely, Gwen her brilliance and deep understanding of manifesting his vision……was incredible, and so rare…….how often does this happen in dance nowadays? well, we can always remember
