Ever  since , I was a child, growing up in Chicago, I have always had special ties London. The neighborhood and street that I lived was aptly named Hyde Park, and as a teenager, I had a huge fascination with practically anything British, people, places, fashion…so much so, I vowed to myself, that I would come to London, then NYC.

Then as destiny would have it, NYC became my self imposed haven and place I would call home to discover who I was , my path and place in the world..through key people and events …that transformed and helped me hone my craft to find a voice….while my childhood dream of London, would escape me …only to find me again…

So now , I have arrived to London, to honor the dream from my childhood, in hopes of a continuation of what has begin in Chicago, NYC, to allow to manifest in London, and hopefully beyond……

Seeing London, for the first time, has brought me back to my roots, shades of Chicago , shades of NYC, all implanted here in the mother of those cities. Its amazing how we have taken the seeds of London, have taken this influence to the free world and made it evolve in another way, in environment, language, and mindset. Up to now, I have witnessed this in the form of dance and art, but now to see it in the form of culture and travel, it has confirmed my path and realization, that we must always keep in mind, and honor our roots…in life and art…even in the midst of evolution……..no matter the heights, life will always find a way to come back to remind us of who we are….embrace and honor the dream ….for it is a compass for our pursuit of happiness…..
