Well, since my computer has been under the spell of Mercury in Retrograde ..I have not been able to update my blog. But now that I have made it back home, I am now able to share about this past week.  For one week, in Jonkoping through the vision and work of Francis “Switch” Brako, 7 teachers  with 7 unique styles were welcomed to Streetdance Academy to share, elevate ,  inspire, and be inspired. And I was lucky to be among the 7 to participate.

Although we planned this months ahead , this retreat of dance couldn’t have come at a better time, especially in the wake of all of the heavy news that has descended on us in just these couple of months. But this is also a testament of the power of dance to allow one to breath and push forward. And we did just that. As i say, we werked hard, we played hard, and we fabulous . Thank you to Francis for all of his hard work, effort, and focus to bring this to his community, you are an inspiration. And to all of the teachers I had the pleasure of sharing and vibing with , I thank you and hope to see you all again. And last but not least, to all of my students, thank you for your energy,  hard work, and drive. It is an honor to be a part of your journey , and hope to continue to be a part of it and witness your evolution. Keep the faith…
